Emilee & Amy Hembrow // SSKIN, Social media & Spotlight

Are you a fan of keeping up with the Hembrow’s like us? We had the pleasure of speaking to Emilee and Amy Hembrow about their new business, SSKIN. The idea of the beauty clinic came about over a year ago, when the girls realised through motherhood and stages of life, that there was not a beauty clinic that catered for all of it. It was their aim to create a place for both holistic and potent services, while ensuring the experience of the beauty clinic was of high standard. Worried about Covid affecting the plans for the opening, it fortunately did not affect SSKIN and services were being booked at crazy speeds. With such large audiences, the girls continue to grow their personality in the social media world. Keeping things private and balancing their time with being busy mum’s, business owners and social media influencers is a challenge. They owe their social successes to being honest, real and communicating with their followers.

Your fave beauty product at the moment?

Emilee: ASI products for my skincare.
Amy: Biologi Rosehip oil as I really need hydration.

Who is someone who inspires you?

Emilee: Business-wise for me would be my step-father. He has given me a lot of motivation growing up and he is a great entrepreneur.
Amy: Women in business. Not a particular person but this whole community of boss Mumma’s.

Your favourite quote?

Emilee: It’s not how good you are, it’s how good you want to be.

What has 2020 taught you?

Emilee: I am so much stronger than I ever thought I was.It has taught me alot about myself
Amy: Take each day as it comes as you really don't know what will happen tomorrow. Be grateful for the ‘now’.
